At ABC Day Nursery, we understand that every child is unique. When it comes to dressing your little one for nursery, there is no right or wrong way. However, we do have some recommendations to ensure your child is comfortable and equipped for a day full of learning and play.
For younger children, we suggest choosing clothes that allow for easy movement. Whether they are crawling, pulling themselves up, or exploring their surroundings, it's important for them to have the freedom to move comfortably. If your child is in the process of potty training, opt for clothing that can be easily undone to promote independence and success.
As children grow and become more independent, we encourage older toddlers and pre-schoolers to wear clothes and shoes that they can fasten and unfasten themselves. This not only fosters self-confidence but also prepares them for the transition to 'big' school, where independence in dressing and self-care is key.

At ABC Day Nursery, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all children under our care. To prevent any potential accidents, we kindly advise against children wearing jewellery that may pose a risk of catching and causing injury. Additionally, we recommend avoiding small clips and hair slides as they could present a choking hazard. By following these guidelines, we can create a safer environment for all children to learn, play, and grow in our nursery.
